Bad Girls of the Bible

I've been searching high and low for a new study for my small group.  I was at the book store the other day and this book popped out at me.  I have heard of it, but never picked it up.  I picked it up, started reading it, and knew immediately that it was the perfect fit for us.

The premise of the book is that the "Bad Girls" of the Bible, never started out wanting to be bad; but by one small bad choice after another ended up where they never wanted to be.

Sound familiar?

I think that describes all of us at one time or another.  How often have I ended up at a place in my mind or heart that I never intended, or even imagined I would be?

Liz Curtis Higgs is the author of this book and study.  I had a very neat email exchange with her this week.  I love when an author interacts with their "students' from afar.  It made me want to read her book more, and drove up the authenticity level for me in a huge way.

I'm excited about this study.  If you want to follow along online, you can find it here.
