Right now I’m reading East of Eden and then Grapes of Wrath is next on my list. Can’t believe I’m 42 and have never read either. I read The Noticer recently and LOVED it. I have recommended it to so many people. I’m also reading and doing- Sharon Jaymes’ Experience the Ultimate Makeover -Becoming Spiritually Beautiful in Christ. Awesome book! thanks for sharing your reading list. I love getting new book ideas!

This summer I haven’t read much at all since I’ve been gone or preparing for trips. But this is what I have or am reading this summer:
Hebrews for Everyone – Tom Wright
    Abba’s Child – Brennan Manning
Life of the Beloved – Henri Nouwen

I read “Daisy Chain’ last spring and liked it very much. Just today I got a package from Amazon, and here’s what was in it; “The Help” by Kathryn Stockett, “Do Hard Things” by Alex & Brett Harris, and “Parting the Waters” by Jeanne Damoff. Can’t wait to dig into this feast!

You gave me the idea to pick up some books to take on the plane. Hoping it will keep me engaged so that I won’t have to think about the fact that I am in the air! LOL
