My thoughts have been with these girls, and a billion like them in the past few weeks. Rob and I are just about done with the manuscript for our book, “Share the Well” (at least that’s what we think it will be called right now). We travelled to Southern India this past summer to gather the stories of men and women church planters and those directly impacted by the Jesus movement. Pouring over their words these past few weeks has given me new passion and focus for the people of India. When everything is quiet in my house, I think of them. When I go to sleep at night, I think of them. When I wake up, I pray for them .
We are hoping to illustrate not the poverty these people live in, but the joy you see in this photo. They have almost nothing compared to our “stuff”, but they know real joy because they know Jesus. So many of our friends in Southern India have given up everything for the sake of knowing Jesus and making Him known.
Living in these stories has renewed my own joy, my passion for Jesus, and my desire to make Him known from here to the ends of the earth. Rob and I can not wait to share this book with you. Pray with us in these final days of editing, publishing, and printing that God’s name would be glorified through our words in this book from here to the ends of the earth.
