Proof of Early Alzheimer’s

In my previous post I was discussing all the things that I had learned in the previous week.  Apparently there was one thing I was missing and my dear friend Jen pointed it out to me.

Are you 34 or 35? I’ve read a few posts that you mention you are 34, but somehow I thought you were born 8 months before me? I’ll be 35 on 1/3/09! I was born in 74. Just curious! =-) I think you are totally young at heart! 🙂 LOVE that pic of you BTW!

I am not 34.  I am 35.

I had to count it out on my fingers because I knew Jen must be wrong.

I was born on May 10,1973.  I am 35.

I can not tell you how many people I have told lately that I just turned 34.  I did not lie. I was convinced I was 34.

Oh my word.  I need a vacation.

Nope–not Alzheimer’s–everyone I know has had the same thing happen once they hit the same age! We only have room to remember the important stuff and age just doesn’t matter anymore!! 😉

Thanks for the’s really not a big deal, I was just curious. This just proves that you are so busy taking care of others that you don’t have time to think about yourself! You are a great Mom and I’m totally learning from you, if that is what God has planned for my future! =-) Either way I’m learning from you! I have too much time to dwell on my age! Forgetting can be a great thing! 🙂

I believe you. This is from your 55 year old Uncle.

OMW! I thought I was the only one who had to subtract the year of birth from the current year to get his age. now I don’t feel so forgetful. (I wonder how long I will remember that?)
