I’ve been thinking all day about my previous post…
The last thing I ever want to do is stir up anger or hate in people. When we are wronged, anger is ok, as long as it doesn’t become all-consuming or turn into rage. Anger is like pain is for the body…a warning that something is wrong that needs attention or to be fixed. “Hatred stirs up strife, but Love covers a multitude of wrongs.” Proverbs 10:12
I wonder how many times I have made someone angry by my poor choices of words? How many times today alone…(yikes?) I hope not too many.
It’s all about the Love Factor. Bearing one another’s burdens, forgiving, repenting, all that stuff. We can shout at or point out the angry all we want. It’s what’s going on inside of ourselves for that person that counts. It’s called the Jesus way, and I’m trying my best to walk and live in it all the days of my life.
