Who would have guessed I would have found a life lesson in my drooling, slobbering, silly dog Ellie. I see her following Isabelle everyday, everywhere she goes. Belle can do no wrong in her eyes, no matter if she is sitting on her, pulling her tail, or dressing her up in princess clothes. Ellie wags her tail with joy at these things because of her love for Belle. She doesn’t question her or mistrust her in anyway. She gives Belle lovey-dovey eyes, and puts her paw on top of her when they are laying on the floor together. Ellie puts her head on Belle’s lap when it’s time for Belle to go to school, because she doesn’t want her to leave.
It made me think this week…
Do I trust my Master? Do I trust Jesus without question, without a doubt, even when it looks like what he is doing around me is strange or uncomfortable?
I look into his eyes, and see love there, and know without a doubt that I CAN trust him. Where he goes I’ll go.
Jesus went out and saw a tax collector by the name of Levi sitting at his tax booth. “Follow me,” Jesus said to him, 28 and Levi got up, left everything and followed him. Luke 5:27–28
