Abandoned pony with hugely overgrown hooves : Stella’s emotional journey to recovery

From neglect to new life, the heartbreaking story of a resilient horse

In a heartwarming news and rescue story, a horse named Stella has been given a new lease on life.

Stella had been living in a pack of horses surrounded by mud and overgrowth, struggling to walk properly due to her long and curled hooves.

Thankfully, a kind-hearted friend of the elderly couple who owned the property where Stella lived noticed her plight and contacted a group of rescuers.

The rescuers knew that barrier work, which involves trimming the overgrown hooves, would be traumatic for Stella, so they proceeded with caution.

After a two-hour session, Stella’s hooves were trimmed and she was able to walk normally once again. The rescuers were moved to tears as they watched the transformation unfold before their eyes.

Stella’s newfound mobility allowed her to run and play with her friends once again, and her joyful personality shone through. She was soon placed in a loving new home, where she continues to thrive.

Stella’s story is a reminder of the importance of animal rescue and the dedication of those who work tirelessly to help animals in need. Her rescue has brought hope and joy to many, and she serves as an inspiration to us all.
