Astonishing animal alliances: the deep friendship between an elephant and a dog

Believe it or not, elephants and dogs, when they play together as best friends, are the most human-friendly animals.

A heart-warming story of companionship. When elephants and dogs they play together, it’s hard to believe, but they seem to have an almost human-like bond. This close relationship is not only beautiful to watch, but it also has a positive impact on both species.

Elephants and dogs have been known to offer each other comfort and protection, with elephants even being seen to play more gently when in the company of their dog friends.

Additionally, dogs have been known to alert elephants of potential danger and guide them through difficult terrain. The connection between elephants and dogs is a testament to the power of friendship, regardless of species.

Bubbles and Bella

Bubbles the African elephant and Bella the black Labrador, who both reside at Myrtle Beach Safari in South Carolina, have formed an incredibly cute friendship that has caught the attention of many.

They frequently engage in playful activities, particularly in the water, and have been captured playing fetch together, with Bubbles using her trunk to throw the ball and Bella swimming to retrieve it after jumping off Bubbles’ head or back.

It’s one of the most heartwarming animal friendships we’ve seen in a while!

After Bubbles’ parents were killed by poachers during the widespread slaughter of elephants in Africa for their ivory, she was rescued and taken in by Myrtle Beach Safari. Bubbles was one of the lucky few elephants who were adopted, as the rest were either killed or released due to the lack of facilities available for them.

When Bubbles first arrived at the park, she was just 42 inches tall and weighed a mere 340 lbs. However, she has since grown to be over 9 feet tall and weighs around 4 tons. As for Bella, she was left at the park by the contractor who built Bubbles’ swimming pool.
