It was a Jello-icious Day

Yesterday is a complete blur to me.  I woke up with a knife in my skull, at least that’s how it felt.  The knife traveled around quite a bit, landing eventually in the back of my left eye so I could not even open it without wincing in pain.  God is truly a merciful God because Belle had a play date at a friends house at noon.  I called Rob to let him know how sick I was and all I remember saying is, “throwing up.  come home.”  I hung up the phone, laid on the couch and woke up when Rob came in.  I wondered how he got there so quickly, but when I looked at the clock it was 2 hours later!  I don’t think I have ever slept like that in the middle of the day.  Knowing the girls were coming home soon, I ate two bites of Jello, drank a sip of sprite and went upstairs to my room.  The knife was still behind my eye and back to my skull again, so I hid my head under the pillow until 5pm.  My girls are so awesome.  Whitney came in and patted my head just like I would do for her when she was sick.  She told me she loved me so much and felt so sorry for me.  Belle came in and gave me her very favorite “Blankie”, and a few stuffed animals to cuddle with.

At 5pm I took a risk and swallowed some Excedrin Migraine, and within 30 minutes my headache was gone.  My family was so nice to me.  I am so grateful to have such caring, loving kids, and an awesome husband.  Feeling a bit woozy-ish today, but so glad to be on the other side of whatever the heck that strange ailment was.

I’m there today. I’m so thankful for vicodin. I can take 1/4 & my pain is gone in 15 minutes.
Glad you’re feeling better. Something sure is traveling around Granger right now. So many people sick.
